Adaptos®Vet granules are available in three granule sizes: Ultra Fine, Fine and Medium. Different granule sizes are equally effective in treating and filling different osseous defects. The choice between the different granule sizes is more about usability and personal preferences of the surgeon.

Adaptos®Vet granules can be used as auto or allograft extender in treating bone non-unions, void fillings in different osteotomy operations, challenging comminuted fractures and arthrodesis of e.g wrist and ancle. Mixing of Adaptos®Vet granules with bone marrow or venous blood is recommended.

Adaptos®Vet Fine (0.5-1.0mm)

Fine granules are especially suitable for treating fragmented fractures, filling narrow fracture gaps and for treating general bone defects in small veterinary patients.

Adaptos®Vet granules can be used in void fillings of bone cysts in the mandible and tooth extraction sites and in treating periodontal pockets and other osseous defects. Recommended for tooth extraction sites, especially if the hole may lead to weakening of the mandible bone and increase the probability for bone fractures.

Adaptos®Vet Ultra Fine (0.2-0.5mm)

Ultra Fine granules are especially suitable for void filling of bone cysts and tooth extraction sites and for treating small fractures, especially on small veterinary patients.
